With a blend of psychedelic rock, Indian timbres, electronic and progressive pop, MMM breaks new sonic and rhythmic ground by fusing the musical expression of four uniquely talented musicians. MMM’s frontman, Adam Laboz, has re-invented the concept of Sitar in the rock quartet through inspired songwriting and use of modern effect processing of his Sitar sound. On stage, Adam improvises in tandem with Clive Smith – an experienced composer, engineer, producer and guitarist. Clive’s list of credits is too long for this bio, but make sure to ask him what it was like playing at Live Aid! Behind Adam and Clive, the pulse of the band is provided by Brian Kolins (drums) and Bob White (bass). Both are steeped in the vocabulary of Progressive Rock and World Music rhythms – building the rhythmic foundation of MMM with a wide palette of electronic and acoustic percussion along with sub-low bass tones and keyboard accents.
